Home and happy

Friday: HSGD Day 5
Weight: 145.4
In: 890
Out: 0
Net: 890/950

Being home is nice. I did the whole interview thing for working this summer and I think it went well so that's good news. It's also for a job that I have worked at for 4 summers already so I shouldn't have been worried at all. The work stuff has made me think a lot about how the boyfriend and I are going to be 6 hours apart again for another summer. It's such a bummer especially since my boss is super uptight about us taking days off. I wish I could just live with him for the summer but I would feel bad leaving my family (it is possibly the last summer I have home [let's be real probably not]) and my job is pretty high paying, definitely higher than any job I would find near his house. I need to save up the money for a new laptop and for school. I feel kind of feel bad about not even attempting to find an internship, after all I am a junior in college now. Maybe I will get an internship during school next semester, I think I will be taking a relatively light load in the fall.

This morning I got up to before the work interview to make my planned egg white omelette. When I woke up though my mother was already awake (I swear she never sleeps) and was making breakfast for the whole family. She made me a breakfast wrap which I devoured. She's a great cook, no wonder I'm huge. Anyway I counted the calories after which came out to a whooping 483. I may have overestimated a little because I don't have the exact recipe but better safe than sorry. Consequently I skipped the planned lunch. I thought dinner would be something really high calorie but mom is making shish kabobs! Mmm. I looked at the ingredients which are: Beef steaks, green peppers, red peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. Pretty healthy! I have 617 calories left for the day. I also swam a little, but not very long. Mostly I wanted to see if my skin had the same reaction to this pool as the pool at school. So far no rash so I think something is up with the levels at school.

Monday is the first day I will weight myself again. If I am not under 145 I will have to take some kind of drastic measure to get out of this plateau. I am so done with the 140's.

Chlorine Burnn

Wednesday: HSGD Day 3
Weight: 146.4

Net: 815/900

First off I would like to thank you for all the comments and support :) You guys keep me staying strong.

Yesterday I went to the gym with the bff and we did a little eliptical, P90X Ab Ripper X, then swam for a while. I haven't swam in almost a month and the chlorine always dries out my skin. Afterwards my skin was burning but I put lotion on and expected it to go away but it still hasn't. I have like a chlorine burn one my face and arms and legs. Today they were red and goose bumpy all day :( I think the chlorine irritated my skin, I have this skin thing called keratosis pillaris which usually isn't bad but the chlorine made it red. Guess thats the last time I'll be swimming for a while which is too bad because I like doing it.

Today I woke up and felt like crap. My skin felt like crap too burning and what not. I skipped my first class but I went to the second one. Its my math class and I always feel so behind when I miss it so I convinced myself to go. My teacher even commented to me after class that I didn't look so good. I'm not sure if its from the chlorine burn on my face or my overall sickly look. My hip flexors are dying so I gave myself a rest day from the gym. Stayed in a pretty good calories range.

I really should drink more green tea, I made it part of my everyday routine and now that I have stopped I feel worse and am not losing weight. In fact I gained from yesterday. Its so frustrating to be having a good week and to be gaining weight. I feel like such a failure but what can I do? Maybe my body is still adjusting from break. If it doesn't change after this week I know I'll have to decrease calories or something. I haven't done any of my April measurements yet because I am not at a low weight so I'm afraid I'll be huge. Plus I'm lazy so it'll wait for a little.

I'm praying for under 145 on the scale tomorrow :X It's been harder to do the second time around.
